The wood for this toy is from sustainable forests. We would advise when buying products made from wood or paper to look for the PFC or PEFC accreditations. These certificates follow a Chain of Custody audit. That is the whole supply chain is examined back to the original forests. This is to ensure that the forest wood being used is also being planted in a way that maintains the size of the total forest.
